(1) Preaching God’s Word

The first sermon I preached on a Sunday morning setting, was on June 22, 2003. It was at Louisville Baptist Deaf Church. The sermon topic was “How to develop Integrity” I recall about 20 people showed up. Several from my home church, Valley View Church, came to support and learn.

The first sermon I preached on a non-Sunday morning setting, was on June 27, 2003 which was at the first Deaf Cafe event at Valley View Church. The message was titled “Who Is Your Creator?”

(2) Signing Music in ASL for Worship

The first time I ever led worship for a few songs was at a Good Shepherd Deaf Church in the year 1997. The first song I ever did for Deaf Church was “You Are My Rock” by Petra.

The first time I ever led an entire evening of worship was March 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio where I started my new music ministry, 212jam.I have led many different worship events / concerts since March 2010.
